A Passion for Wildlife Photography: the Stories Behind the Images
We are extremely fortunate to have professional wildlife photographer Irene Saciliotto share her insights on wildlife photography. Irene has more than 35 years of experience and conducted more than 300 classes, workshops, lectures and tours in: Kenya, Iceland, Newfoundland, the Falklands, the Brazilian Pantanal, and a wide range of US locations. Her images have appeared in a range of books, calendars, and magazines published by the National Wildlife Federation, Natural History Society, National Geographic, Audubon, and Sierra Club.
Irene's description of this session is: "This talk is based on my more than 35 plus years’ experience photographing wildlife and covers the requirements, strategies, techniques, and equipment required to capture engaging images of animals in their natural habitat. Included is information on lighting and composition, plus locating, attracting, and approaching wildlife and capturing action. Also covered are comments on safety and ethics. The program is interwoven with some entertaining stories behind some of the images."
Light Painting with Props and Models w/Lori Saunders
We've been very fortunate to have Lori Saunders do a range of Lightpainting presentations (in person and on Zoom) plus in-person outdoor workshops. Well--Lori's back to share her expertise with us. This session is going to provide a quick introduction to Lightpainting and then look at how to incorporate props and/or human models to compose incredible photos. As always, expect a wealth of techniques and advice on tools from Lori.
