My back story

This community was born in 2008 as a Meetup in Washington, DC that then expanded to NYC.

Back then, I was getting back into digital photography as a hobby and was looking for photography friends who shared my passion. What started as a simple quest for connection quickly grew into a vibrant community of photographers who, like me, wanted to make photography a shared experience.

A business grew out of the photo walks, and I had the privilege of teaching in Washington, DC, NYC, New Orleans, and for Canon USA.

Now we revive this community online, so we can practice, learn, and create alongside others who want to grow—just like you.
